So, I'm starting the New Year out by moving to St. Charles, Missouri. I know this might come as a shock to some people...actually, I don't even know if anybody reads this...so it might not. haha...but to those that know me, it shouldn't be a big shock. I've felt God calling me to serve in St. Charles for a while now, and have been unwisely and selfishly ignoring his calling. I've been scared. I've been afraid of what people will say and think. I've been scared that people would think that I'm moving to St. Charles to be closer to Ronnie. That just isn't true! While I'm excited to see what happens with us, I would NEVER move somewhere for a man...I truly feel God calling me. I'm nervous, excited, scared, and unbelievably happy!! I've been hanging on to please other people for too long. I can't wait to see what God is going to do with me now. I'm going to be attending St. Charles Community College for the Spring semester, and in the fall I'll be transfering to Lindenwood University. I'm really excited to be serving on a campus where we currently don't have anybody enrolled. I'm hoping to get something started up for the Spring so that when I transfer in the Fall, I'll have people to take over and carry it on. Please, pray for me. Some of you out there know just how difficult this is for me. I've cried and prayed about this for so long. I hope my true friends understand why I'm doing this. If they don't, I'm sorry...but I have to live to please God now...not you. Proverbs 3:5
